We got great value for our money at Coal Miners' Cabins. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a warm atmosphere. The location was remote and picturesque, surrounded by mountains and glaciers. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

We stayed at the cozy cabins for a week-long Arctic adventure. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the town and immerse ourselves in the wilderness. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with daily room service. The shared bathrooms were well-maintained, and the shared kitchen provided a convenient option for cooking our own meals. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle bus dropped us off right at the entrance, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. We even had a daily treat of reindeer grazing outside our window!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect, nestled between the majestic mountains that were once mined for coal. It's reasonably close to the town center, so you can easily explore the city. Plus, it's close to the edge, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with shared bathrooms that are well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to assist you with any inquiries. The breakfast may be basic, but the restaurant offers delicious dinner options. Additionally, the common hang-out area is a great place to meet interesting people from all over the world.
One downside is that the curtains in the rooms are not effective at blocking out the sunlight during the summer months.

I had a fantastic stay at the cozy hotel just outside the city. The room was small but comfortable, and I appreciated the peacefulness away from the noise and light pollution of the city. The shared bathrooms were clean with great water pressure in the showers. The highlight for me was the amazing dinner and the bar where I could relax after a long day of adventuring. The location also provided a great chance to see wild animals from the window. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant and affordable stay.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. The rooms, bathrooms, and towels were all very clean and well-maintained. Another great aspect was the lively reception and dining area, where I enjoyed the company of friendly and helpful staff. it was fantastic to have vegetarian options available for meals.
While my stay was generally enjoyable, there were a couple of things that could be improved. the hotel was a bit far from the town center, making it inconvenient to access certain amenities.

Staff was very nice and serviceminded. The reception/bar/restaurant was cozy and had a warm atmosphere. The shared bathroom was clean.
Location was remote and a 25-minute walk to the center. The triple room we were assigned was very small and cramped for three people with baggage.

the location was excellent, with a stunning view and just a short walk from the town centre. the cabins were spacious and well-equipped, with a sitting room and kitchen that came in handy. We were initially concerned about the shared bathrooms, but they turned out to be no problem at all. Our floor had three bathrooms, two of which were right next to our room. They were always clean and available. the room itself met all our requirements, with a wash basin and bath robes provided. it was a great experience and we plan to visit again. Cons: Nothing bad to say 😊.
